Our properties here, on this well-known, unique little lake, were once all part of Saddleback Lake Lodge, a fishing retreat first established in the 1930’s, and still predominately the only cabins on this small lake. Thirty cabins meander along the western shore of the lake, facing the impressive rise of beautiful Saddleback Mountain. Enjoy one of the best beach areas in the Rangeley Lakes Region with safe, sandy lake access for the youngest – or oldest – members of your family at the shared lakefront. A large permanent dock beckons a morning cup of coffee watching the sun poke over the Saddleback Mountain range or provided the perfect spot to watch the kids splash in the lake. The wide-open common grass area right on the lakefront provides the ideal location for the youngun’s to run off youthful energy in a game of tag, pass, or cartwheels. These properties frequently attract families who return year after year, developing lasting friendships with other vacationers. No motorized boats are allowed on this exquisitely pristine lake renowned for its fishing heritage. Hikers, woods walkers, and mountain bikers love this location as well, as many trail options are available right out your cabin door. Located a little over five miles from the Rangeley village, the Saddleback Lake Lodge compound is a world away.
